Events

DSC07277I spend as much time as I can wandering the paths of the Isle of Purbeck and enjoy leading walks through this wonderful place. The variation in walks is almost endless and can be as easy or as challenging as you want it to be. We will spend the time chatting about the local area, its history and some of the stories that make the Isle of Purbeck so interesting.

As a group we will wander as slowly as the slowest and take enough time to enjoy our surroundings. I would like to encourage anyone, of any ability, to come out on one of our walks. You will not be disappointed.

I also travel around Dorset with ‘The Purbeck Footprints Roadshow’, showing and selling my photographs, cards and calendars. If you have an event that you think I would be interested in coming to, please get in touch. I am always looking for new events.

If you are interested in joining a walk or would like me to arrange a walk for your group, please contact me on 07850 343507 or catch me on Facebook. For other ways to reach me check my contacts page.

About Julian Sawyer

It is easy these days to spend hours processing shots on a computer, removing twigs or imperfections, changing colours to make the shot more pleasing or even adding something that may be missing, but I do not do that. Nature, by its very design, is perfectly imperfect and that is how I want my photographs to be. Sometimes the light is not quite right, sometimes the animal will not pose in the way I want or decides to stay hidden, that is the beauty of wildlife photography and I find it frustratingly magical.
